माधवी-प्रदानम् (Mādhavī Offered to Gālava) — Udyoga Parva 113

तथा तौ कथयन्तौ च चिन्तयन्तौ च यत्‌ क्षमम्‌ । प्रतिष्ठाने नरपतिं ययातिं प्रत्युपस्थिताौ,इस प्रकार परस्पर बातें करते और उचित कर्तव्यको मन-ही-मन सोचते हुए वे दोनों प्रतिष्ठानपुरमें राजा ययातिके दरबारमें उपस्थित हुए

tathā tau kathayantau ca cintayantau ca yat kṣamam | pratiṣṭhāne narapatiṁ yayātiṁ pratyupasthitau ||

ഇങ്ങനെ പരസ്പരം സംസാരിക്കുകയും എന്താണ് യുക്തമെന്ന് ഉള്ളിൽ ചിന്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട്, അവർ ഇരുവരും പ്രതിഷ്ഠാനത്തിലെത്തി രാജാവ് യയാതിയുടെ സഭയിൽ ഹാജരായി.
