पूर्वमेतां दिशं गच्छ या पूर्व परिकीर्तिता । देवतानां हि सांनिध्यमत्र कीर्तितवानसि

Transliteration

pūrvam etāṃ diśaṃ gaccha yā pūrvā parikīrtitā | devatānāṃ hi sānnidhyam atra kīrtitavān asi ||

Translation

ആദ്യം ‘കിഴക്ക്’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ആ ദിശയിലേക്കു പോകുക; കാരണം ആ ദിശയിൽ ദേവന്മാരുടെ പ്രത്യേക സാന്നിധ്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് നീ തന്നെയല്ലോ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
