Suparṇa–Gālava Saṃvāda
अन्र नित्यं स्रवन्तीनां प्रभव: सागरोदय: । अत्र लोकत्रयस्यापस्तिष्ठन्ति वरुणालये
atra nityaṁ sravantīnāṁ prabhavaḥ sāgarodayaḥ | atra lokatrayasyāpas tiṣṭhanti varuṇālaye ||
ഇവിടെയാണ് നിത്യമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന നദികളുടെ ഉദ്ഭവം; അവയുടെ ജലത്താൽ സമുദ്രം നിരന്തരം നിറയുന്നു. ഇവിടെയുള്ള വരുണാലയത്തിൽ ത്രിലോകത്തെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ജലസഞ്ചയം സംഗ്രഹിതമായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
