Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
ततः कथास्ते समवाययुक्ता: कृत्वा विचित्रा: पुरुषप्रवीरा: । तस्थुर्मुहूर्त परिचिन्तयन्तः कृष्णं नृपास्ते समुदीक्षमाणा:
tataḥ kathās te samavāyayuktāḥ kṛtvā vicitrāḥ puruṣapravīrāḥ | tasthur muhūrtaṃ paricintayantaḥ kṛṣṇaṃ nṛpās te samudīkṣamāṇāḥ ||
അതിനുശേഷം ആ പുരുഷപ്രവീരർ സഭയ്ക്ക് യോജിച്ചവിധം പലവിധ സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തി; പിന്നെ കുറച്ചുനേരം മൗനത്തിലായി. ചിന്തയിൽ മുങ്ങി ഇരുന്ന ആ രാജാക്കന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനിലേക്കു തന്നെ ദൃഷ്ടി പതിപ്പിച്ചു—അവൻ ഇനി എന്ത് പറയും, എന്ത് ചെയ്യും എന്ന കാത്തിരിപ്പോടെ.
