वाचके परितुष्टे तु शुभा प्रीतिरनुत्तमा । ब्राह्मणेषु तु तुष्टेषु प्रसन्ना: सर्वदेवता:
vācake parituṣṭe tu śubhā prītir anuttamā | brāhmaṇeṣu tu tuṣṭeṣu prasannāḥ sarvadevatāḥ ||
കഥാവാചകൻ സന്തുഷ്ടനായാൽ പരമോത്തമവും മംഗളകരവുമായ പ്രീതി ഉദിക്കുന്നു. ബ്രാഹ്മണർ തൃപ്തരായാൽ ശ്രോതാവിനോടു സർവ്വദേവതകളും പ്രസന്നരാകുന്നു.
