वाचको भरतमश्रेष्ठ व्यक्ताक्षरपदस्वर: | भविष्यं श्रावयेद् विद्वान् भारतं भरतर्षभ
vācako bharataśreṣṭha vyaktākṣarapadasvaraḥ | bhaviṣyaṃ śrāvayed vidvān bhārataṃ bharatarṣabha ||
ഹേ ഭാരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! വാചകൻ പണ്ഡിതനായിരിക്കണം; ഓരോ അക്ഷരവും പദവും സ്വരവും വ്യക്തമായി ഉച്ചരിച്ച് ‘ഭാരതം’ ശ്രവിപ്പിക്കണം; ഹേ ഭാരതവൃഷഭാ! ഭവിഷ്യപർവ്വവും (ഹരിവംശപരമ്പര പ്രകാരം) പാരായണം ചെയ്യണം.
