अपूपैश्नैव पूपैश्न मोदकैश्व समन्वितम्‌ । सभापर्वणि राजेन्द्र हविष्यं भोजयेद्‌ द्विजान्‌

Transliteration

apūpaiśnaiva pūpaiśna modakaiś ca samanvitam | sabhāparvaṇi rājendra haviṣyaṃ bhojayed dvijān ||

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— രാജേന്ദ്രാ! സഭാപർവ്വത്തിന്റെ അവസരത്തിൽ അപൂപം, പൂപം, മോദകം എന്നിവയോടുകൂടിയ ഹവിഷ്യം (ശുദ്ധ നൈവേദ്യം) നൽകി ദ്വിജ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർക്ക് ഭോജനമൊരുക്കണം.
