Educational Q&A

The verse highlights karmaphala in the epic’s concluding movement: the culmination of dharma and accumulated merit is portrayed as a tangible, otherworldly honor—divine conveyance and celestial company—rather than merely worldly recognition.

The narrator describes a richly ornamented, wish-moving celestial chariot (vimāna) and the presence of Apsarases, indicating an ascent-to-heaven setting where the protagonists are being received with divine splendor.
