स्त्री-विलापः — गान्धार्याः रणभूमिदर्शनं शापवचनं च

Battlefield Lament and Gāndhārī’s Curse

अपन बक। है २ >> पञ्चविशो< ध्याय: अन्यान्य वीरोंको मरा हुआ देखकर गान्धारीका शोकातुर होकर विलाप करना और क्रोधपूर्वक श्रीकृष्णको यदुवंशविनाशविषयक शाप देना गान्धायुवाच काम्बोजं पश्य दुर्धर्ष काम्बोजास्तरणोचितम्‌ । शयानमृषभस्कन्ध॑ हत॑ पांसुषु माधव,गान्धारी बोलीं--माधव! जो काबुलके बने हुए मुलायम बिछौनोंपर सोनेके योग्य है, वह बैलके समान हृष्ट-पुष्ट कंधोंवाला दुर्जय वीर काम्बोजराज सुदक्षिण मरकर धूलमें पड़ा हुआ है

gāndhāry uvāca | kāmbojaṃ paśya durdharṣaṃ kāmbojāstaraṇocitam | śayānam ṛṣabhaskandhaṃ hataṃ pāṃsuṣu mādhava ||

ഗാന്ധാരി പറഞ്ഞു— മാധവാ, ഈ ദുര്ധർഷനായ കാംബോജരാജൻ സുദക്ഷിണനെ നോക്കുക. കാംബോജർ നിർമ്മിച്ച മൃദുലമായ ശയ്യകളിൽ ശയിക്കുവാൻ യോഗ്യനായവൻ, കാളയെപ്പോലെ വിശാലമായ തോളുകളോടെ, ഇപ്പൊഴിതാ ഹതനായി ധൂളിയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.
