सान्त्व-निति: (Sāntva-Nīti) — The One-Word Principle of Conciliation
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त: कृतवान् सर्व यथा शक्र: पुरोधसा । तथा त्वमपि कौन्तेय सम्यगेतत् समाचर
bhīṣma uvāca | ity uktaḥ kṛtavān sarvaṃ yathā śakraḥ purodhasā | tathā tvam api kaunteya samyag etat samācara ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പുരോഹിതൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ശക്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) എല്ലാം അതുപോലെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു. ഹേ കൗന്തേയാ! നീയും ഈ സാന്ത്വനപൂർണ്ണ ഉപദേശം യഥാവിധിയായി ആചരിക്ക.
