वायुदेव उवाच नासुद्गत् परमं मन्त्र नारदाहति वेदितुम् | अपण्डितो वापि सुहृत् पण्डितो वाप्यनात्मवान्
vāyudeva uvāca nāsudgataḥ paramaṃ mantraṃ nāradāhati veditum | apaṇḍito vāpi suhṛt paṇḍito vāpyanātmavān
വായുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“നാരദന് ആ പരമമന്ത്രം ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ഒരാൾ സുഹൃദ് ആയിട്ടും അപണ്ഡിതനായിരിക്കാം; പണ്ഡിതനായിട്ടും ആത്മനിയന്ത്രണമില്ലാത്തവനായിരിക്കാം.”
