सो<5हं कितवमातेव द्वयोरपि महामते । एकस्य जयमाशंसे द्वितीयस्यापराजयम्
so 'haṃ kitavamāteva dvayor api mahāmate | ekasya jayam āśaṃse dvitīyasya aparājayam, mahāmate ||
മഹാമതേ! രണ്ടു ചൂതാട്ടക്കാരുടെ അമ്മ ഒരാളുടെ ജയത്തെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചാലും മറ്റൊരാളുടെ പരാജയം ആഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തതുപോലെ, ഈ രണ്ടു സുഹൃത്തുകളിൽ ഒരാളുടെ വിജയം ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ മറ്റൊരാളുടെ വീഴ്ച ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല.
