राज्ञोऽभिषेकः, अराजकदोषः, दण्डधारणस्य आवश्यकता

Royal Consecration, the Fault of Kinglessness, and the Necessity of Enforcement

आह्रिकं जपमानस्य देवान्‌ पूजयत: सदा । धर्मेण पुरुषव्याप्र धर्माश्रमपदं भवेत्‌

āhrikaṃ japamānasya devān pūjayataḥ sadā | dharmeṇa puruṣavyāpta dharmāśramapadaṃ bhavet, puruṣasiṃha! |

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പുരുഷസിംഹമേ! നിത്യമായി ആഹ്നികകർമ്മങ്ങൾ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച്, മന്ത്രജപം ചെയ്ത്, എപ്പോഴും ദേവന്മാരെ പൂജിക്കുന്നവൻ, ആ ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭാവത്താൽ ധർമ്മാശ്രമം—അഥവാ ഗാർഹസ്ഥ്യധർമ്മം—പാലിച്ചതിന്റെ പുണ്യഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।
