Transliteration

śibiputro mahātejā gopatir nāma nāmataḥ

Translation

ശിബിയുടെ ഒരു പുത്രൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ളവൻ; പേരിൽ അവൻ ‘ഗോപതി’ എന്നറിയപ്പെട്ടു।
