भवश्नानेन विप्रेण संहिताभिरभिष्टत: । स्वर्गद्वारे कृतोद्योगो येनासौ त्रिदिवं गत:
bhavaśnānena vipreṇa saṃhitābhir abhiṣṭutaḥ | svargadvāre kṛtodyogo yenāsau tridivaṃ gataḥ ||
സൂര്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ പണ്ഡിത ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഭവസ്നാനം (ശൈവവിധി) നിർവഹിച്ചു, സംഹിതകളിലെ മന്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ ഭഗവാൻ ശങ്കരനെ സ്തുതിച്ചു. തപസ്സും നിയമവും കൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം സ്വർഗ്ഗദ്വാരത്തിങ്കൽ തന്നെയെന്നപോലെ সাধനയിൽ പരിശ്രമിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹം ത്രിദിവമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
