यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
നാഗൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ! സൂര്യന്റെ അതിവിശിഷ്ട തേജസ്സിൽ മഹാബാഹുവായ, ശാശ്വതനായ, അനാദി-അന്തമില്ലാത്ത പുരുഷോത്തമൻ സ്വയം വസിക്കുന്നു—ഇതിലധികം അത്ഭുതം മറ്റെന്ത്? അവനിൽ നിന്നാണ് നാനാവിധ ബീജങ്ങൾ ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നത്; അവന്റെ ആശ്രയത്താൽ ഈ സമസ്ത ഭൂമി, ചരാചരങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ, ധാരിതമാണ്. സൂര്യമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ തന്നെ നാരായണൻ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, അതിനെക്കാൾ വലിയ അത്ഭുതം എന്തുണ്ടാകും?
