तं॑ कृतक्षणमासीन पर्यपृच्छच्छचीपति: । महर्षे किंचिदाश्नर्यमस्ति दृष्टं त्वयानघ,जब नारदजी थोड़ी देर बैठकर विश्राम ले चुके, तब शचीपति इन्द्रने पूछा-“निष्पाप महर्षे! इधर आपने कोई आश्वर्यजनक घटना देखी है क्या?
taṁ kṛtakṣaṇam āsīnaṁ paryapṛcchac chacīpatiḥ | maharṣe kiṁcid āścaryam asti dṛṣṭaṁ tvayānagha ||
നാരദൻ കുറച്ചുനേരം ഇരുന്ന് വിശ്രമിച്ചതിനുശേഷം ശചീപതി ഇന്ദ്രൻ ചോദിച്ചു—“നിഷ്പാപ മഹർഷേ! എവിടെയെങ്കിലും അത്ഭുതകരമായ ഒന്നുകണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ?”
