स कदाचिन्महेष्वास देवराजालयं गत: । सत्कृतश्च महेन्द्रेण प्रत्यासन्नगतो5भवत्‌,महाधनुर्धर नरेश! एक समय वे नारदजी देवराज इन्द्रके यहाँ पधारे। इन्द्रने उन्हें अपने समीप ही बिठाकर उनका बड़ा आदर-सत्कार किया

sa kadācin maheṣvāsa devarājālayaṁ gataḥ | satkṛtaś ca mahendreṇa pratyāsannagato 'bhavat |

മഹാധനുർധരനായ രാജാവേ! ഒരിക്കൽ നാരദൻ ദേവരാജന്റെ ആലയത്തിലേക്ക് ചെന്നു. മഹേന്ദ്രനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ യഥോചിതമായി ആദരിച്ചു, തന്റെ അടുത്തിരിപ്പിച്ചു.
