अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
किमतः: पूर्वजं जन्म व्यासस्यामिततेजस: । कथयस्वोत्तममते जन्म नारायणोद्धवम्
kim ataḥ pūrvajaṁ janma vyāsasyāmitatejasaḥ | kathayasvottamamate janma nārāyaṇoddhavam, śreṣṭha buddhivāle munīśvara |
ജനമേജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“അമിതതേജസ്സുള്ള വ്യാസന് ഇതിന് മുമ്പ് മറ്റൊരു ജന്മമുണ്ടായിരുന്നോ? ഹേ ഉത്തമമതിയേ, നാരായണനിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യാസന്റെ ജനനം എപ്പോൾ, എങ്ങനെ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു? ഹേ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ മുനീശ്വരാ, ദയചെയ്ത് വിശദീകരിക്കൂ.”
