Āścarya-kathana: Brāhmaṇa–Nāga Dialogue on Sūrya (Vivasvat) and the ‘Second Sun’ Phenomenon

ततो ज्येषछ्े तु दौहित्रे प्रादाद्‌ दक्षो नृपोत्तम । आदित्ये सवितुर्ज्येछ्ले विवस्वाउ्जगृहे तत:

tato jyeṣṭhe tu dauhitrē prādād dakṣo nṛpottama | āditye savitur jyeṣṭhe vivasvān jagṛhe tataḥ ||

നൃപശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! തുടർന്ന് ദക്ഷൻ തന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠ ദൗഹിത്രനു—സവിതാവിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠ പുത്രനായ ആദിത്യനു—ഈ ധർമ്മം നൽകി. പിന്നെ അവനിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ വിവസ്വാൻ (സൂര്യൻ) ഈ ഉപദേശം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.
