देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
ध्वानो भीषणकाया अयोमुखानि वयांसि बलगृध्रकुलपक्षिणां च संघा: । नरकदने रुधिरपा गुरुवचन- नुदमुपरतं विशसन्ति
dhvāno bhīṣaṇakāyā ayomukhāni vayāṁsi balagṛdhrakulapakṣiṇāṁ ca saṅghāḥ | narakadane rudhirapā guruvacana-nudam uparataṁ viśasanti ||
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗുരുക്കന്മാരുടെയും മുതിർന്നവരുടെയും ആജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കുന്നവർ മരണാനന്തരം നരകത്തിൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. അവിടെ ഭീകരമായ മഹാകായനായ്ക്കൾ, ഇരുമ്പുചുണ്ടുള്ള പക്ഷികൾ, കാക്ക-കഴുകൻ മുതലായ ഇരപിടിപ്പക്ഷികളുടെ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾ, രക്തം കുടിക്കുന്ന കീടങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ അവരുടെ യാതനാദേഹത്തിൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറി കീറി, കൊത്തി, കടിച്ചു മുറിക്കുന്നു.
