विविधानां च भूतानां जड़मा: परमा नृप । जड़मानामपि तथा द्विपदा: परमा मता:

Transliteration

vividhānāṁ ca bhūtānāṁ jaṅgamāḥ paramā nṛpa | jaṅgamānām api tathā dvipadāḥ paramā matāḥ ||

Translation

മഹാരാജാ! വിവിധ ജീവികളിൽ ചലിക്കുന്ന (ജംഗമ) ജീവികളെയാണ് ശ്രേഷ്ഠമെന്ന് കരുതുന്നത്; ആ ചലിക്കുന്നവരിലും ദ്വിപദികൾ—മനുഷ്യർ—പരമോന്നതരെന്ന് അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
