गौरवेण परित्यक्तं नि:स्नेहं परिवर्जयेत्‌ । सोदर्य भ्रातरमपि किमुतान्यं पृथग्जनम्‌

Transliteration

gauraveṇa parityaktaṁ niḥsnehaṁ parivarjayet | sodaryā bhrātaram api kim utānyaṁ pṛthagjanam ||

Translation

അവഹേളനത്തോടെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും സ്നേഹശൂന്യനുമായിരിക്കുന്നവനെയും ഒഴിവാക്കണം. അത്തരം സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ സഹോദരനെയെങ്കിലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാൽ, ബന്ധമില്ലാത്ത മറ്റൊരാളെപ്പറ്റി പറയേണ്ടതെന്ത്?
