परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
कृतशुद्धशरीरो हि पात्र भवति ब्राह्मण: । आनन्त्यमत्र बुद्धयेदं कर्मणां तद् ब्रवीमि ते
kṛtaśuddhaśarīro hi pātra bhavati brāhmaṇaḥ | ānantyam atra buddhyedaṃ karmaṇāṃ tad bravīmi te
ആചരണശുദ്ധിയാൽ ദേഹം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ തന്നെയാണ് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ പാത്രം. ഇവിടെ കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ അനന്തവ്യാപ്തി ബുദ്ധിയാൽ ഗ്രഹിക്കണം; അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ഇത് പറയുന്നത്.
