कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

कदाचिद्‌ दिवसान्‌ पज्च समुत्पत्य विहड्भमा: । षछ्ेडहनि समाजम्मुर्न चाकम्पत जाजलि:,कभी-कभी वे विहंगम उड़कर पाँच-पाँच दिनतक बाहर ही रह जाते और छठे दिन वहाँ लौटते थे, तबतक भी जाजलि मुनि हिले-डुले नहीं

kadācid divasān pañca samutpatya vihaṅgamāḥ | ṣaṣṭhe 'hani samāgamya na cākampata jājaliḥ ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ചിലപ്പോൾ ആ പക്ഷികൾ പറന്നുപോയി അഞ്ചു ദിവസത്തോളം പുറത്തുതന്നെ താമസിക്കും. ആറാം ദിവസം അവിടെ മടങ്ങിയെത്തിയാലും ജാജലി മുനി അല്പവും കുലുങ്ങിയില്ല.
