क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, എന്നെ ക്ഷമിക്കൂ; അധികം വൈകാതെ കാലം നിന്നെയും സമീപിക്കും. ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും, അലസതയില്ലാത്ത കാലം എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചുവെങ്കിൽ, അതേ കാലം ഉടൻ നിന്നെയും ആക്രമിക്കും. ഈ കടുത്ത സത്യം പറഞ്ഞതിന് എന്നെ ക്ഷമിക്കൂ.
