शत्रुभिर्वशमानीतो हीन: स्थानादनुत्तमात् | वैरोचने किमाश्रित्य शोचितव्ये न शोचसि
śatrubhir vaśamānīto hīnaḥ sthānād anuttamāt | vairocane kim āśritya śocitavye na śocasi ||
ഹേ വൈരോചനപുത്രാ! ശത്രുക്കളുടെ അധീനതയിൽപ്പെട്ട് നീ അനുത്തമസ്ഥാനമായ രാജ്യമുതൽ പതിതനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇത്തരമൊരു ശോചനീയാവസ്ഥയിലും ഏതു ആശ്രയബലത്തെ പിടിച്ചാണ് നീ ശോകിക്കാത്തത്?
