शक्र उवाच तिष्ठेथा मयि नित्य त्वं यथा तद्‌ ब्रूहि मे शुभे । तत्‌ करिष्यामि ते वाक्यमृतं तत्‌ वक्तुमहसि,इन्द्रने कहा--शुभे! तुम जिस प्रकार मेरे निकट सदा निवास कर सको, वह उपाय मुझे बताओ। मैं तुम्हारी आज्ञाका यथार्थरूपसे पालन करूँगा; क्योंकि तुम वह उपाय मुझे अवश्य बता सकती हो

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | tiṣṭhethā mayi nityaṁ tvaṁ yathā tad brūhi me śubhe | tat kariṣyāmi te vākyam ṛtaṁ tat vaktum arhasi ||

Translation

ശക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ ശുഭേ! നീ എങ്ങനെ എന്നോടൊപ്പം നിത്യമായി വസിക്കാമെന്ന് ആ ഉപായം എനിക്ക് പറയുക. ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വാക്ക് യഥാർത്ഥമായി അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും; നീ സത്യോപദേശം പറയാൻ അർഹയാണ്.”
