कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
दृष्टवा5<र्तोंडपि हि पापात्मा स तां पज्जरके5क्षिपत् । स्वयं दुःखाभिभूतो5पि दुःखमेवाकरोत् परे
dṛṣṭvā ārtaṃ api hi pāpātmā sa tāṃ pañjarake 'kṣipat | svayaṃ duḥkhābhibhūto 'pi duḥkham evākarot pare ||
അവൾ വേദനയിൽ ആണെന്ന് കണ്ടിട്ടും ആ പാപമനസ്സുകാരൻ അവളെ കൂട്ടിലേക്കെറിഞ്ഞു. സ്വയം ദുഃഖത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിയിട്ടും മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് ദുഃഖം മാത്രമേ അവൻ വരുത്തിയുള്ളൂ.
