kāryārthe kṛtasandhānau dṛṣṭvā mārjāramūṣikau

Translation

ഒരു കാര്യം സാധിപ്പിക്കാനായി പരസ്പരം ധാരണ ചെയ്തിരുന്ന പൂച്ചയെയും എലിയെയും കണ്ട ഭീഷ്മൻ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു—പങ്കിട്ട ലക്ഷ്യം പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചാൽ സ്വാഭാവിക ശത്രുക്കളും താൽക്കാലികമായി ഒന്നിക്കാം; എന്നാൽ അത്തരം കൂട്ടുകെട്ടിൽ ആചാര-വിവേകവും ജാഗ്രതയും അനിവാര്യമാണ്।
