विष्णुरड्लिरसे प्रादादक्धिरा मुनिसत्तम: । प्रादादिन्द्रमरीचि भ्यां मरीचिर्भुगवे ददौ,भगवान् विष्णुने उसे अंगिराको दे दिया। मुनिवर अंगिराने इन्द्र और मरीचिको दिया और मरीचिने भूगुको सौंप दिया
viṣṇur aṅgirase prādād aṅgirā munisattamaḥ | prādād indramarīcibhyāṃ marīcir bhṛgave dadau ||
ഭഗവാൻ വിഷ്ണു ആ ദണ്ഡം അങ്ഗിരസിന് നൽകി. മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ അങ്ഗിരസ് അത് ഇന്ദ്രനും മരീചിക്കും നൽകി; മരീചി പിന്നെ അത് ഭൃഗുവിന് ഏല്പിച്ചു।
