त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

तस्मिन प्रवृत्ते सत्रे तु ब्रह्मण: पार्थिवर्षभ । दृष्टरूपप्रधानत्वाद्‌ दण्ड: सो<न्तर्हितो$भवत्‌

tasmin pravṛtte satre tu brahmaṇaḥ pārthivarṣabha | dṛṣṭarūpapradhānatvād daṇḍaḥ so 'ntarhito 'bhavat ||

വസുഹരോമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജവൃഷഭാ! ബ്രഹ്മന്റെ ആ സത്രം ആരംഭിച്ച ഉടനെ, ദൃശ്യവും പ്രത്യക്ഷവുമായ യാഗകർമ്മങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രാധാന്യം വന്നതിനാൽ ബ്രഹ്മന്റെ ദണ്ഡം അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു.
