इति दुष्टस्य विज्ञानमुक्त ते सुरसत्तम । निशम्य शास्त्रतत्त्वार्थ यथावदमरेश्व॒र

Transliteration

iti duṣṭasya vijñānam ukta te surasattama | niśamya śāstra-tattvārthaṃ yathāvad amareśvara ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സുരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഹേ അമരേശ്വരാ! ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ തത്ത്വാർത്ഥം യഥാവിധി ആലോചിച്ച്, ദുഷ്ടനെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനുള്ള വിവേചനവും അവനെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഈ ലക്ഷണങ്ങളും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു।
