कुरुष्वल्पावशिष्टेषु पाण्डवेषु च संयुगे । सुसंरब्धेषु पार्थेषु पराक्रान्तेषु संजय
kuruṣv alpāvaśiṣṭeṣu pāṇḍaveṣu ca saṃyuge | susaṃrabdheṣu pārtheṣu parākrānteṣu sañjaya ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു— സഞ്ജയാ! യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ പാണ്ഡവരിൽ അല്പം പേർ മാത്രമേ ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്നുള്ളൂ; പൃഥാപുത്രരായ പാർഥർ അത്യന്തം ക്രോധത്തോടെ പൂർണ്ണ പരാക്രമത്തോടെ പോരാടുമ്പോൾ, അപ്പോൾ എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചു—എനിക്ക് പറയുക।
