अश्वत्थामा महाभाग: कृतवर्मा च सात्वत:
aśvatthāmā mahābhāgaḥ kṛtavarmā ca sātvatāḥ
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു: അവിടെ മഹാഭാഗനായ അശ്വത്ഥാമാവും സാത്വതവംശജനായ കൃതവർമ്മനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു—യുദ്ധാനന്തര സംഭവവികാസങ്ങളിൽ മുഖ്യകർത്താക്കൾ; വിശ്വസ്തതയും ഹിംസയുടെ ശേഷിച്ച നിഴലും തുടർന്നുള്ള തീരുമാനങ്ങളെയും ഫലങ്ങളെയും രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
