अताडयच्छड्खदेशे न चचालाचलोपम: । पास पहुँचकर उस भयंकर पराक्रमी महामनस्वी वीरने महामना भीमसेनके ललाटपर गदासे आघात किया, परंतु भीमसेन पर्वतके समान अविचलभावसे खड़े रह गये, तनिक भी विचलित नहीं हुए

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അടുത്തെത്തി ആ ഭയങ്കര പരാക്രമശാലിയായ വീരൻ ഭീമസേനന്റെ നെറ്റിയിൽ ഗദാപ്രഹരം ഏല്പിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും ഭീമൻ പർവ്വതംപോലെ അചഞ്ചലനായി നിന്നു, അല്പവും കുലുങ്ങിയില്ല. ധൈര്യം കുലുക്കാനായിരുന്ന ആ അടിയാൽ, ഭീമന്റെ അചല സാഹസമേ കൂടുതൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു।
