अन्तरिक्षचर: श्रीमान् कलशं गृहा[ देवल: । यही सोचते हुए श्रीमान् देवलमुनि कलश हाथमें लेकर आकाशमार्गसे समुद्रतटकी ओर चल दिये
antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആകാശത്തിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രീമാൻ ദേവലമുനി ഒരു കലശം എടുത്തു. ഇങ്ങനെ മനസ്സിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ച്, കൈയിൽ കലശം ധരിച്ചു, ആകാശമാർഗ്ഗം വഴി സമുദ്രതീരത്തേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
