परपुष्टोपमा वाक्ये तथद्धर्या धनदोपमा: । शक्रवीर्योपमा युद्धे दीप्त्या वह्विसमास्तथा
parapuṣṭopamā vākye tathā dhairyā dhanadopamāḥ | śakravīryopamā yuddhe dīptyā vahnisamā tathā ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വാക്കിൽ അവൾ കുയിലിനെപ്പോലെ മധുരം; ധൈര്യത്തിലും സമൃദ്ധിയിലും ധനദൻ (കുബേരൻ) പോലെയുമാണ്. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശക്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) പോലെയുള്ള വീര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുകയും, ദീപ്തിയിൽ അഗ്നിയെപ്പോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
