पशुदा वित्तदा चैव सुखदा च महायशा: । पयोदा गोमहिषदा सुविशाला च भारत

Transliteration

paśudā vittadā caiva sukhadā ca mahāyaśāḥ | payodā gomahiṣadā suviśālā ca bhārata

Translation

വൈശംപായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭാരതാ! അവ പശുദായിനികൾ, ധനദായിനികൾ, സുഖദായിനികൾ; മഹായശസ്സുള്ളവർ. അവ പാൽ നൽകുന്നു, ഗോ-മഹിഷക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, അത്യന്തം വിശാലവും സുസംഘടിതവുമാണ്.
