तस्मिन् सारस्वते तीर्थे विश्वामित्रो महामुनि: । वसिष्ठ॑ं चालयामास तपसोग्रेण तच्छुणु
tasmin sārasvate tīrthe viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ | vasiṣṭhaṃ cālayāmāsa tapasogreṇa tac chṛṇu ||
ആ സാരസ്വത തീർത്ഥത്തിൽ മഹാമുനി വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ തന്റെ ഉഗ്രതപസ്സാൽ വസിഷ്ഠനെ ചലിപ്പിച്ചു. കേൾക്കുക; ആ സംഭവത്തെ ഞാൻ വിവരിക്കുന്നു।
