Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
आहूता सरितां श्रेष्ठा गययज्ञे सरस्वती । विशालां तु गयस्याहु#षय: संशितव्रता:
āhūtā saritāṃ śreṣṭhā gayayajñe sarasvatī | viśālāṃ tu gayasyāhuḥ ṛṣayaḥ saṃśitavratāḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗയന്റെ യാഗത്തിൽ നദികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠയായ സരസ്വതിയെ ആഹ്വാനിച്ചു. ദൃഢവ്രതധാരികളായ ഋഷിമാർ പറയുന്നു: ഗയന്റെ സംബന്ധത്തിൽ ആ സരസ്വതിയേ ‘വിശാലാ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നു.
