प्राप्तैश्न नियमैस्तैस्तैविचरन्त: पृथक् पृथक्
prāptaiś ca niyamais tais tais te vicarantaḥ pṛthak pṛthak | adṛśyāḥ puruṣaśreṣṭha loke svīkṛtaniyamānusāriṇaḥ ||
വൈശംപായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വിവിധ നിബന്ധനകൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച്, ഓരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ ആചാരപ്രകാരം വേർവേറായി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു. മനുഷ്യർക്കു അദൃശ്യരായി അവർ ലോകമൊട്ടാകെ പര്യടിച്ചു; ഹേ നരവ്യാഘ്ര, ഇങ്ങനെ ആ വൃക്ഷദേവത ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമായി.
