nānyam asyānupaśyāmi pratiyoddhāram āhave
The line underscores the Mahābhārata’s recurring reflection on unequal power in war: when a warrior’s prowess becomes overwhelming, the moral weight of resistance shifts from mere strength to resolve, strategy, and adherence to kṣatriya-dharma despite daunting odds.
Sañjaya, narrating events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, remarks that he sees no other warrior capable of serving as a true counter-opponent for a particular fighter in the ongoing battle, emphasizing that warrior’s dominance at that moment.
