Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement

अद्य कीर्तिमयीं मालां प्रतिमोक्ष्ये तवानघ । प्राणाम्‌ श्रियं च राज्यं च मोक्ष्यतेडद्य सुयोधन:,“अनघ! आज आपके गलेमें मैं कीर्तिमयी माला पहनाऊँगा तथा आज यह दुर्योधन अपने राज्यलक्ष्मी और प्राणोंका परित्याग करेगा

adya kīrtimayīṁ mālāṁ pratimokṣye tavānagha | prāṇān śriyaṁ ca rājyaṁ ca mokṣyate ’dya suyodhanaḥ ||

അനഘാ! ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ കീർത്തിമയമായ മാല അണിയിക്കും; ഇന്നുതന്നെ സുയോധനൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനും രാജശ്രീയും രാജ്യവും എല്ലാം വിട്ടൊഴിയും।
