Resolve for the Mace Duel

युधिछ्िर उवाच उत्तिषोत्तिष्ठ गान्धारे मां योधय सुयोधन । एक एकेन संगम्य संयुगे गदया बली,युधिष्ठिर बोले--गान्धारीनन्दन! सुयोधन! उठो-उठो और मेरे साथ युद्ध करो। बलवान तो तुम हो ही। युद्धमें गदाके द्वारा अकेले किसी एक वीरके साथ ही भिड़कर अपने पुरुषत्वका परिचय दो। एकाग्रचित्त होकर युद्ध करो। यदि इन्द्र भी तुम्हारे आश्रयदाता हो जायाँ तो भी आज तुम्हारे प्राण नहीं बच सकते

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | uttiṣṭhottiṣṭha gāndhāre māṃ yodhaya suyodhana | eka ekena saṅgamya saṃyuge gadayā balī ||

യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗാന്ധാരീനന്ദനനായ സുയോധനാ! എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക, എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക; എന്നോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുക. നീ ബലവാനാണ്; അതിനാൽ ഈ സമരത്തിൽ ഗദ കൈയിൽ എടുത്ത് ഒരേയൊരു വീരനോടു മുഖാമുഖം ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി നിന്റെ പൗരുഷം തെളിയിക്ക. ഏകാഗ്രചിത്തനായി യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുക.
