Dvaipāyana-hrade Duryodhanasya Māyā — Yudhiṣṭhirasya Dharmoktiḥ (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 30)
ततो दुर्योधनो राजा सलिलान्तर्गतो वसन् । शुश्रुवे तुमुलं शब्द जलदोपमनि:स्वनम्,तदनन्तर पानीके भीतर बैठे हुए राजा दुर्योधनने मेघकी गर्जनाके समान भयंकर शब्द सुना
tato duryodhano rājā salilāntargato vasan | śuśruve tumulaṃ śabdaṃ jaladopama-niḥsvanam ||
അതിനുശേഷം ജലത്തിനുള്ളിൽ കഴിയുന്ന രാജാവ് ദുര്യോധനൻ, മേഘഗർജനയെപ്പോലെ ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു തുമുലശബ്ദം കേട്ടു.
