स विह्दलो महाराज रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् । सहदेवं तथा दृष्टवा भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्
sa viddhalo mahārāja rathopasthe upāviśat | sahadevaṃ tathā dṛṣṭvā bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാരാജാ! ആ പ്രഹരത്തിൽ വ്യാകുലനായ സഹദേവൻ രഥാസനത്തിൽ കൂപ്പുകുത്തി ഇരുന്നു. അവന്റെ ആ അവസ്ഥ കണ്ട പ്രതാപവാനായ ഭീമസേനൻ ഉഗ്രകോപത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു. ഭാരതാ! അവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ സർവ്വസേനയുടെ മുന്നേറ്റം തടഞ്ഞു, നൂറുകളും ആയിരങ്ങളും നാരായചബാണങ്ങൾ വർഷിപ്പിച്ച് അവരെ പിളർത്തി തകർത്തു.
