Śalya-hatānantarāṇi: Madrarāja-padānugānāṃ praskandana and the Pandava counter-encirclement (शल्यहतानन्तराणि—मद्रराजपदानुगानां प्रस्कन्दनम्)
त॑ परे नाभ्यवर्तन्त मर्त्या मृत्युमिवागतम्
taṁ pare nābhyavartanta martyā mṛtyum ivāgatam
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എതിരാളി യോദ്ധാക്കൾ അവന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അടുക്കാൻ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടില്ല; മരണമാണ് നേരിൽ വന്നതെന്നപോലെ. യുദ്ധക്രോധത്തിൽ ഒരൊറ്റ മഹാവീരൻ അനിവാര്യ ഫലത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമാകുമ്പോൾ, പരിചയസമ്പന്നരുടേയും ധൈര്യം കുലുങ്ങുന്നു.
