त्रासनीं सर्वभूतानां स्वसैन्यपरिहर्षिणीम् । मनुष्यलोके विख्यातां गिरिशृज्भविदारणीम्
trāsanīṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ svasainyapariharṣiṇīm | manuṣyaloke vikhyātāṁ giriśṛṅgabhidāraṇīm ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ ഗദ സർവ്വജീവികൾക്കും ത്രാസമായതും, സ്വന്തം സൈന്യത്തിന് ഉല്ലാസം വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമായിരുന്നു. മനുഷ്യലോകമാകെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ അത്, പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങൾ വരെ പിളർത്താൻ കഴിവുള്ളതെന്ന് പറയപ്പെട്ടു.
