Brahmaśirastra-pratisaṃhāra — Retraction and redirection of the supreme weapon
Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15
सत्यव्रतधर: शूरो ब्रह्मचारी च पाण्डव: | गुरुवर्ती च तेनास्त्रं संजहारार्जुन: पुन:
satyavratadharaḥ śūro brahmacārī ca pāṇḍavaḥ | guruvartī ca tenāstraṃ saṃjahārārjunaḥ punaḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സത്യവ്രതം ധരിച്ച വീരനായ പാണ്ഡവ അർജുനൻ ബ്രഹ്മചാരിയും ഗുരുവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞയ്ക്ക് വിധേയനുമായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ ആ ആയുധം വീണ്ടും ഉപസംഹരിച്ചു.
